Where mainnet actually is, and what you can check yourself.
The path to mainnet is a written checklist and a binary that reads it. This page publishes that state as it stands, with the date on it, including the parts that are uncomfortable to publish.
The verdict today
Run the preflight and it answers NO-GO, with eleven open gates named one by one. As of 17 September 2026 those are the consensus freeze, the release candidate built from it, an external audit of that exact commit, the closure of its findings, the thirty-day burn-in, and the two compile-time locks that only move at launch. The verdict is not a marketing decision: the binary reads a file of evidence and refuses to say GO while a field in it is empty.
The freeze clock
At the freeze the protocol stops being a moving target, and the freeze is not a date somebody picks. The rule is fourteen consecutive days in which the tests stop finding anything that touches consensus, the producer path, propagation or persistence. The clock started on 17 September 2026. Only a finding reachable under the rules mainnet is born with resets it, and that bar is written down precisely so an inconvenient finding cannot be argued away.
What is already decided
Mainnet launches at today's parameters: a 512 KiB transport ceiling, sixty-second blocks, eighty-four post-quantum transactions per block, 1.40 settled per second on the first layer. The seven rules it is born with are named and carry a commitment hash. Improvements that are real are deliberately deferred — naming the spender's key instead of repeating it is +56% capacity and 36% less chain, measured — because new consensus surface restarts the clock above. They ship as a scheduled activation on the running chain, which is what that machinery was built for.
What you can re-check without trusting us
The rule set's commitment is a SHA-256 anyone can recompute from the published schedule. The genesis verifies against its own manifest. The Linux binary rebuilds byte for byte in a pinned container from the same source commit: one command, and a hash that either matches the release or does not. Every block publishes a validation receipt — twelve predicates an independent party can check. None of that asks you to believe a sentence on this page.
What we are not claiming
The chain is produced by two nodes and both of them are ours: one operator, one site, one power socket. That is liveness, not decentralisation, and it is on the record as an accepted risk rather than a closed box. Joining the public testnet today needs the Tor route, because the direct port is not open. And the core source stays private until the frozen commit ships with the release candidate — a deliberate line, said here rather than left to be discovered.
